I would like to remind everyone that this group requires that wings be visible in the artwork that you submit to this group.
Effective immediately, wings need to be MOSTLY VISIBLE for the art to be accepted.
Here is an illustration of what I mean by "mostly visible"; I apologize for the thumbnail image being minuscule. Please click on it to see what is acceptable and what is not acceptable.
If no wings are visible, the picture will be declined.
If only the shoulder joint of the wing is visible, the picture will be declined.
If only tiny bits of wing are visible beyond the shoulder joint, the picture will be declined.
If the wings are folded behind a creature's back and only visible at the outer edge, the picture will be declined.
There will be some "borderline" items that I accept or decline on a case-by-case basis. When I decline a piece of art, I will always tell you why I did so. You are also always free to ask questions about it if my decision did not make sense to you, or if you just have questions about it generally.
Special allowances are made for comics, as wings don't need to be visible in all panels or on all pages submitted. We allow this so that the continuity of the comic series is not interrupted.
I'll adjust this list as we go along, but from now on I want to see LOTS OF WINGS in the Winged Fantasy Club. Wings are what this group is about, right?!
If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to ask.
If you have work that you have questions about, please feel free to post a link here or in a note, and we can take a look at it.
